Queensland Water has chosen Lutra’s Infrastructure Data platform to provide its members with powerful analytics, automated reporting, and visualisation of water quality and treatment plant performance data
Users of Queensland Water’s SWIMLocal database can now get easy, web based, access to dashboards and graphic displays of their operational data – allowing identification of emerging performance issues, assisting in problem solving, and enabling valuable insights to be gained from pre-configured analytics.
Routine reports on key performance targets for treatment plants and distribution systems are run automatically, saving time for operations staff and ensuring reporting deadlines are not missed.
In developing the partnership, Queensland Water considered Lutra’s strong understanding of treatment processes and their flexibility in taking advice from operations experts and SWIM users to tailor the layout of dashboards and reports.
“As a company of water and wastewater process engineers and data management specialists, Lutra understands the problems we are trying to solve and how to get best value from operational data.”
Dave Cameron, CEO, Queensland Water
“The new BI dashboard will broaden SWIM’s appeal to less technical people in the management area and extend its value to operators.”
Shaun Johnson, Manager Water and Waste Water, Burdekin Shire Council
