Network Analyser Placement
Determine optimal network locations for online analysers.
The new Drinking Water Standards operational rules encourage the use of inline monitoring for distribution system compliance. Monitoring your network can be a challenge. Is the monitoring accurate, and representative? Changing water age, velocities, reverse flows and population density are factors in whether a network analyser provides useful and actionable information. The location also needs power and needs to be secure. Lutra can develop an optimal sensor placement model using CANARY to inform Capex spends.
What is included in this offer:
- Analysing a network to determine preferred sensor location.
What is excluded from this offer:
- It is assumed that this work can be carried out in a Lutra office and no travel time has been allowed.
- Development of network data and model. It is assumed that a calibrated EPA net model (or equivalent), and suitable data is provided to enable the sensor placement modelling.

Engineering New Zealand/ACENZ Short Form Agreement – Feb 2019.
Fees are Exclusive of GST.
Invoiced monthly based on percentage completion.
Disbursements will be charged at 110% to cover administration costs.
