Thames Coromandel District Council faced the common issue of aging infrastructure and in particular it was found their water treatment plants were in need of upgrading.
Working together with Lutra options were analysed, preliminary designs completed. Lutra then assisted with the contractor selection process to make sure TCDC got a design and outcome that suited their needs.
After construction Lutra were further involved in commissioning of the plants as well as writing operations guides and supplying state of the art online training (LTO).
The programme is nearing its end with most of the plants completed, commissioned, and supplying clean drinking water to their communities; see what TCDC Project Manager Ian Smith had to say about Lutra's involvement in the video below:

"Our experience with Lutra has been great. They've been very helpful and technically competent, and we couldn't have asked for a better consultant to help us with this project."
Ian Smith, Project Manager Three Waters, Thames Coromandel Disctrict Council

In the video above senior process engineer Richard Slight talks about what Lutra contributed to the project. If you have an engineering project you need assistance with, contact us at the form below or with the details at the bottom of the page.
